Katie - Seeking Work in Southbury
Southbury$14.56/hr  |  < 1 yr experience
I did an internship in high school for 1 school year with special education kindergarten. I have worked at 2 daycares, which I had to leave, due to relocation. The summer of 2003 and 2004 I worked at recreational camp. I also worked at an over night summer camp in 2000. In summer of 07 I worked at the Aldrich Museum doing a two week intensive camp called For 3 years (2002-2005) I was babysitting for 6 families in the New Haven area, which I really enjoyed but transferred to WestConn and relocated. For the past 3 years I was been working for 4 families in Fairfield County. I have excellent references and I really enjoy working with children. I have experience working with all ages of children. I take all my responsibilities very seriously. I consider myself very reliable and considerate of others. I am always willing to do last minute sitting for emergencies etc because I understand what it is like to be in difficult a position. I depend on others therefore I ensure that I am reliable and dependable in return. My certifications are: Certificate from babysitting program, Child development coursework, CPR certified (current), Daycare license (current), First Aid Training (current). I am willing to become certified in anything depending on need/want of the parents. I have my own car, which is brand new with lots of room. But I would need to be provided with a car seat if the child needs one. I am very flexible, but due to traffic in the Danbury area I would prefer to stay within a 10-20 mile radius or so. Please feel free to contact me regardless, we can figure out exactly how far your home is from mine. Thank you! *I have many references please contact me for their names and phone numbers.

Heather was wonderful with our 2 month old! She followed our sleep schedule, kept the baby happy all day and even offered to fold the laundry, clean bottles, etc. As a new mom, it was very helpful to have someone here who I felt comfortable with, and with Heather, that happened immediately. We will definitely be seeing her again - Brittany
