I worked for a couple with 3 children. The ages were 3 months, 5 yrs. , and 7 yrs old. I also brought my 3 year old daughter with me. I was basically only responsible to take care of the children and feed them. The couple wanted me to strictly focus on the children and no housework. One of the children had a food allergy that I needed to watch out for. Currently I help a lady with her in home daycare with children ranging in age from 1-5 years old. At times I am responsible for up to 8 children myself. Unfortunately due to an issue on her part she has to let me go within a few weeks.

I started working with children when I was 15 years old at my local after school daycare. I worked with ages preschool - 5th grade and loved it! From there I went on to work at a preschool for 2 years in the 2-year-old room and occasionally covered in the infant room. What I disliked about this was the large groups of students to one teacher. That is when I decided to nanny. I first nannied for a single mom of a 3-year-old for 2 years until they moved out of state. At that point, I started nannying for a couple with 3 girls, ages 4, 16 months, & a newborn. I loved this job and did this for 3 and a half years. I recently left my previous nannying job back in April to pursue a job in the business world. I cared for three young children ages 6 months, 2 & 4 when I became employed with them, I worked or them for a little over two years. I have quickly realized that I belong working with children. I am hoping to get back into being a nanny quickly as I have missed it so much! I absolutely love working with kids, I put my heart and soul into what I do, this is not just a job for me, I have no learned, this is my career.

I am the oldest of 7 children & grew up caring for my siblings. I knew how to cook, clean, change diapers, etc. when I was 8 and under. Starting back in 2007, I began nanny/babysitting for a job. I worked with one family over the course of a year picking up their 9 & 11-year-old from school, helping them with homework, preparing food, taking them on outings, etc. I have had several per diem (date night, single day or weekend) jobs as well watching up to 5 ( ages 18 months to 10 years) children at a time while the parents had a night out. I have worked with many families since & have good references. I have been caring for children for about 7 years now as a job.I have assisted mothers with newborns after having a c section which include taking them (mom & baby) to the doctors. Also taking the older children to doctors appointments as well.I have experience working with children with Aspergers syndrome, ADHD & anxiety. Other duties I have fulfilled on the job include: *Shopping & errands *administering medicine *laundry & light cleaning *cooking & meal prep *all general care of children ages newborn to 14 years *pickups & drop offs, taking children to the park, community play areas, library, etc *overnight care *teaching of all basics skills including abcs, numbers, shapes, colors, cooking, arts & crafts, cleaning etc, etc *keeping a light journal for the parents reference to keep them updated on activities done, food & drink intake, diapers, bottles, nap times etc etc I care for some of my friends children also on an as needed basis. I love children & am eager for the opportunity to care for them.I am always careful to follow the guidelines of the parents for their children. I feel it is very important to keep communication flowing with the parents on the development of their children & also about work needs & changes. I am a good driver with a reliable car. I do not have children that I would need to bring along with me to a job. I am able to pass CORI/background checks. I charge based on number of children & duties that are expected of me. I have traveled for years for work & am willing to travel the distance for a good fit & good job with a family.

2007-2011 I am a mother's helper of her two young children ages 5 and 8 years old in Chelmsford. I started when their kids were 1 yr and 4 yrs old, I've watched them grow and learn and I am lucky to have been apart of their family. (their schedules are changing this Sept) 2007-2011 I watch two boys, 8 and 10 (with behavioral issues and mild autism) on sporadic days and every Sat night in N. Andover. They recently moved to CA but come back to visit and I still occasionally sit for them when they do. 2008-2011 I am working for a family on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays for her two young boys, ages 5 and 6, in N. Andover, full time days while parents work. I take them to and from school and extra curricular activities. I have been lucky again to have been a part of their family as well and watch the boys grow and learn. (They’re schedule also is changing in Sept) 2007-2008 I worked for two families: one was for 3 full days with a 2 year old girl and a 4 year old boy in Lowell (then they moved) and Friday mornings for a family with a 2 year old girl in Chelmsford, along with the family with 2 kids in Chelmsford, Wed n Fri 2005-2006 I also took care of two kids, ages 5 and 11, after school in Manchester, NH. I drove them to their extra-curricular activities, kept them active, and helped with homework, prep dinner, along with grocery shopping and light house keeping. 2004-2006 I was a waitress on the weekends and also a couple days a week after school I would watch a 12 yr old boy in Dracut until mom came home from work. 2001-2003, I was a mother's helper for her three young children ages 6 months, 2 yrs and 3.5 yrs old in Pelham, NH. It was a wonderful experience for me 2000-2001 I was an after school care taker of two girls ages 5 and 7. 1999 I was hired for my first after school babysitting job for two kids ages 9 and 11. Presently I also help out friends with their children, if they need to get away for whatever reason. Most of them being the ages of 2 years old to 5 years old.
