A little bit about me

Hi there! My name is Summer, I’m 18, and I’ve been working with since I was in kindergarten! At my daycare growing up I was my care providers right hand, I would cook lunch, change the babies, keep all the kiddos in line, and that passion has continued through my years. I’ve worked countless babysitting jobs and I’ve also helped raise my baby brother who is now 3. He was also premature so I know how to handle the little ones with gentle care. I absolutely love children, and it’s my passion to someday work with them as a career. I also am a hard working house cleaner! Even if it’s not asked for, ill do a cursory clean up just to alleviate some stress off the parents, but I would never over step any boundaries. I don’t have my certifications but I’m working on obtaining them at the moment.

A little bit about me

Hello! I am a longtime caregiver (15+ yrs) and have spent the last 8 years exclusively working with infants, with both single children as well as multiples in nanny shares. I am engaging/animated, very relaxed, responsive, and enjoy supporting them in self-discovery! I have taken graduate-level early education and development courses as I move through an online M.Ed program. I am truly in love with what I do and am hoping to forge some new connections in this very personal work. Let's chat!

A little bit about me

I'm originally from Miami, Florida. I moved here in 1996 to go to college, which, I did for 2 years. Then I went to beauty school and graduated in 2002 with a nail and facial license. I have a total of 7 children, which I see on the weekends, I work as a make- up artist for a non profit company called Dress For Success and I have a wonderful 2 and 1/2 year relationship with my new beau! I like dancing, karaoke and organizing for fun! The rest of my time is spent relaxing and planning for the future! Because of the number of children and other care taking experiences, I am VERY patient, attentive, understanding, open minded and dependable!

A little bit about me

The following words describes me best: Independent, responsible, passionate, and positive. Being a preschool teacher assistant at the period of time where I'm close to graduating is a huge influence on me and It has shaped me in a positive way. I learned to rely on myself more and not rely on anyone else, with achieving any tasks, especially when working with children. I When I think about the word responsible, I think it identifies me the most. When I started working with children, I learned to not give excuses and be there no matter what. I want to be a positive role model for not only the children but for myself individually as well. I took courses as well worked there for about 3 years. I have a certification as well.

Having the opportunity of being a preschool teacher assistant has taught me skills to collaborate and make sure what I'm doing is accurate, no matter what I achieve all given tasks with a smile on my face. This year I became a strong person, I learned so many useful things from my teachers and my peers. I became independent, hard worker, and cooperate with my peers on unfinished work. I'm pretty serious when it comes to working with children because it's a real responsibility. It could also be the most fun thing ever.

I am looking to work full-time this summer. I want to save some extra money for college next fall and I thought why not do something I'm already passionate about and highly experienced in.

My availability starts Monday-Friday from 9 am to 5pm.

Thank you for taking the time to read my application!
