I am CPR and First Aid certified and have had many other OSHA trainings and certificates through both of my jobs.
I am kind, friendly, and largely protective of those I care for, but not overbearing and I believe parents know what’s best for their children.

A little bit about me
I am a 23 year-old black indigenous poet, doula, care worker, artist, and activist. I am passionate about early childhood education, reproductive justice and LGBTQA+ rights.
My most previous job was working as a teacher at the Childroots Early Learning Center in SE Portland, where I was working with ages 15 months to 24 months. I have over 6 years of experience working with small to large groups of children age newborns to pre-teens. That being said I have a deep love for infant care and would love to grown with a family.
I completely enjoy every moment I spend with children I care for. Some of the activities I enjoy doing with the children are dancing, expressive play, singing, reading. I feel it is important to create space for children to be themselves and further their developmental skills through autonomy, compassion and open communication.

A little bit about me
I'm looking for a position as a nanny either in the US or abroad (I'd be happy to travel with your family!). I'm a sunny happy person with a lot of love for families and nature. I like to make everyday things an adventure and see the good in the world. I bring a positive outlook with me wherever I go and love to share with other people. I think one of my favorite parts of working with kids is helping foster creativity and an interest in learning in a natural fun way that is really engaging for children. I'm extremely passionate about early childhood education and love to take a play-based learning approach
I am Trustline Certified

Please note: I am a nanny who uses mobility aids. It doesn't prevent me from doing my nanny work and the child(ren) is always my number one priority. I think this could be a great opportunity for your child(ren) to learn about diversity! But I want to make sure you're comfortable with it too
