A little bit about me
nanny/babysitter! I am currently attending college in Harrisburg, majoring in psychology. (In regards to my college schedule I haven’t chose it yet for the fall - but I pick my own schedule and can work around whatever hours we decide on if you feel I am a good fit for your family. If I apply for your position it means I’m confident I can meet your scheduling needs!)
I have just recently finished nannying for a family of three children for a midwife. I did overnight care, after school, and before school care. I have my PSW certificate, and love caring for children! I have watched children ages 1 - 17 years old. I enjoy going to the park, reading books, playing games, and l've been told I'm the best nanny ever!

FOR NANNYING: I'm a local part-time private nanny to neighboring families. My specialty is newborn/postpartum care, with a focus on safety and helping families with routine. I have current first aid/CPR training, background clearances and 10+ certifications regarding all areas of child development. I was raised in Washington DC, and attended private school. Safety and confidentiality are pillars to my service. I am a "RIE Educarer" with infants and lean on "Reggio Emilia" pedagogy with older children. Both frameworks believe children are born active in the learning process by communicating 100 different ways and our job as caregivers is to observe, encourage participation and personal development. I bring my 24-month-old daughter with me (she's very easy going with her own comforts). I'd love to schedule a Meet and Greet!

A little bit about me
Growing up, I had a very special relationship with my own Nanny who I looked up to. I try to carry her loving, thoughtful influence into my work as a nanny.
My childcare experience expands across all age groups including special needs. I find such joy in being a positive mentor in a child’s life.
Fun Fact: I love hide and seek, board games, crafts and music.
I am so excited to meet your family and my hope in my time with you is to create a lasting impact through care, attention, and fun!
Can’t wait to meet you!
