A little bit about us

Hi! We are a family of 4, my wife and I are both scientists at the Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. My wife works on-site in the mornings, I am telecommuting but have meeting throughout the day. Our kids, Julian and Torben, are 3 months and 6 years old. The older one has virtual classes in the morning and is relatively independent with that. The younger one will need bottle feeding, he has shown a very peaceful temper so far and sleeps a lot between feedings. The older one needs some attention, playing boardgames, doing art projects and building with his Legos- this is what he loves. We would also appreciate if you could take over some light household tasks like helping the older one to clean up his toys, loading/unloading the dishwasher. We also have a nice backyard and you could spend time with the kids there. Looking forward to hearing from you.

A little bit about us

5 hours a week [phone number hidden] pm; picking up twin boys, 3 yrs old, from preschool about 4 blocks from our house and bringing them home for naptime. Light housework while they nap (laundry/kitchen), and then park/play when they wake up. Must be up to date on all vaccinations, including Covid.
Must have references
Car isn't a must, but would be nice just in case, our preschool is a 7 min walk from our house, but we do live in the hills. We also have 3 parks in a 5-7 min walk
Spanish is preferred; our children are going to a Spanish Immersion preschool, and our daughter who is 5 will be attending Kinder at a Spanish elementary.
Our boys are super fun, active imaginations and love to play with anything trucks. They love our nearby parks, and have many friends who go there as well. My husband and I work from home for the most part, and are around at times to help, but not 100% of the time, which is why we need someone dedicated to helping care for the boys from 12:30pm-5:30 pm.
They love to be read to, but are also very good at playing independently. Our current nanny, has been an angel, and is the perfect balance of playing with them, but then also letting them play by themselves or with other kids, all while closely supervised. Our current nanny, wants 40+ hours a week, and unfortunately because our kids are in school, we can't provide that. We really only need someone from about 12:30pm-5:30 pm Mon - Fri
