A little bit about us

Our girl Solvie (soul-vee) is one year old and a busy busy girl. She’s walking, babbling and super curious. I’m looking for someone to come play with her in the mornings from 8 until noon Mondays and Tuesdays. We live right around the corner from a park where you can take her to swing and check out the sights. But for the most part we are looking for someone to come spend time with Solvie at our house while J get some work done.

A little bit about us

We are in search of a part-time nanny for up to 20-30 hours a week M-F for our family with 3 children in San Luis Obispo. Primarily taking care of our 1-year-old during the day, with drop off and pick up and afternoon care for the two older kids ages 6 and 4 going to Transitional-K and first grade. We would prefer someone who could help out with light housekeeping or serve as a house manager. We would prefer a nanny who has their own car for morning and afternoon school drop off and who is comfortable with dogs as we have 1 golden doodle. Fluency in Spanish a definite plus as our children are learning Spanish. We are an easy going, laid back and fun family relocating from Washington DC!

Part-Time to Full-Time Nanny Needed (2-Year-Old | San Luis Obispo | Starting April)

Hi! We’re a warm, easygoing family looking for a nanny for our 2-year-old daughter starting in April. Finding the right fit is most important to us, so we’re flexible on timing for the right person.

We’re hoping to find someone who is active, playful, kind, patient, and confident working independently—someone who genuinely enjoys engaging with toddlers and supporting their development through play.

Schedule:
We are currently needing 2–3 days/week (~12–20 hours), with the goal of transitioning into a full-time schedule (Monday–Friday 7:30 AM–4 PM) as my work schedule increases.

Pay:
$20–25/hour depending on experience

What the days look like:
• Screen-free, engaging play (we value creativity, outdoor time, and connection)
• Supporting age-appropriate development through play and routine
• Occasional outings (library, parks, music classes) once everyone is comfortable
• Light household support during downtime (family laundry, dishes, tidying, simple meal prep)

We’re looking for someone who:
• Has recent experience with toddlers (and ideally infants)
• Is dependable, responsible, and takes initiative
• Enjoys being active and interactive (not just supervising)
• Is looking for a long-term position
• Has a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Is CPR certified
• Is a non-smoker
• Is comfortable with dogs (we have a friendly, house-trained dog)
• Can provide strong, recent references

A little about us:
I have a flexible work schedule and may occasionally be home, but we value giving our nanny space and autonomy during the day. We’re looking for someone who feels like a natural extension of our family.

If this sounds like a good fit, we’d love to connect—please reach out with your experience and a little about yourself!

A little bit about us

I am a research associate/assistant. I work from home. My partner does as well as a project manager. We have a hard time separating work and home life, when they are in the same space.
We want to give out baby all our time, however, still needing to work.

Hi my name is Denise and my partner and I (same-sex couple) have been married for 4 years. We have a 7 month old daughter name Oakland. She was a sweet baby, loves nature and outdoors. She’s very active and loves to play. She does crawl.

The time we need the helping hands is so that we can get what we need done for work and help with Oakland.

I work from 8 to 4:30pm Monday- Friday. My wife has a similar schedule.

We want someone that can play, educate and keep her entertained. She enjoys parks and walks. She loves water. And since it cold we make bath time a fun time with toys and music.

Oakland is very observant and loves music. Any activity that are sensory she will be attentive.

Responsibilities for Oakland is really to have fun, play, feed, educate and nap. She is our number one priority and we don’t want to take the focus off of her
