We are a warm and loving family looking for an experienced and nurturing full-time nanny to care for our two children: a 4.5-month-old baby and a 3.5-year-old toddler. The toddler will also be at preschool several days during the week. The ideal candidate will have experience with infants and toddlers, be reliable, organized, and passionate about child development. We value a caregiver who can create a fun, stimulating, and safe environment while fostering our children’s emotional and physical growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care for both children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Engage in age-appropriate activities, including tummwy time, singing, reading, and sensory play for the baby, and interactive play, outdoor activities, and educational games for the toddler
- Assist with feeding the 4.5-month-old (breastmilk feeding schedule) and prepare meals/snacks for the 3.5-year-old
- Maintain consistent routines for naps, playtime, and meal times
- Help with light housekeeping tasks related to the children (tidying play areas, cleaning bottles, laundry for the kids)
- Plan and supervise outdoor play and walks
- Support the toddler with learning activities and encourage creativity through art, music, and problem-solving games
- Communicate daily with parents about the children's routines, activities, and development milestones
- Occasionally assist with pick-up/drop-off to activities or preschool
Qualifications:
- Previous nanny or childcare experience with infants and toddlers (required)
- CPR and First Aid certificatio
- Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities

My husband and I are searching for a nanny to help with our baby and things around the house when we both return to work later this summer. We are looking for someone to start part-time (16-20 hours/week) in July, and increase the hours in August to 25-30 hours/week. I will be working half-time in July and return to full-time in August. I work almost completely from home, but will go into the office for half days once or twice a week once I'm able to be away from the baby for longer stretches.
When you start, our baby will still only be ~2 months old. He is almost exclusively breastfed (and currently will only nap on my lap), so there will be more household work than childcare at first. Gradually you'll be doing more childcare as he gets older and is less attached to me :)
Household work will likely include light chores (vacuuming/sweeping, cleaning the kitchen/bathrooms, changing bed sheets, doing dishes, etc.) and possibly some meal prep here and there if that's something you're open to.

8am-12pm Mon-Fri or Mon-Thurs, starting around July 2nd
8am-2pm Mon-Fri, potentially shorter days on Fridays, starting August 4th
