A little bit about us

Hi!
We are new parents who just welcomed our sweet newborn boy named Leo in early June. My husband (Kevin) and I are both in the medical field and are looking to hire an at-home nanny to work 30-40 hours a week (weekdays) to start early September once I return to work.
This will involve basic newborn care (feeding, changing, tummy time / play, constant supervision).

We are looking for someone who has prior experience caring for children (especially newborns), who is CPR / first aid certified, and who is patient, flexible, and reliable.

Please reach out with any questions if you think we may be a good fit. We are happy to discuss compensation and expectations in more detail as well. We look forward to talking to you more to see if we'd be a fit!

A nice family with one baby girl and her name is Brielle. Brielle is 10 months old. She is able to crawl but not yet able to walk on her own. She hasn't had much experience with baby sitters because she hasn't attended daycare yet so she needs someone who is patient as she gets adjusted to new people.

Baby sit at our home. Feed and change Brielle. Play and read books with Brielle. No screen time for Brielle (any devices or TV). Put Brielle to bed.

A little bit about us

Hi! We are looking for summer care for our toddler. He will turn 3 at the end of summer. He loves playing, snuggling, and is a overall a really sweet kiddo. We are not sure how is nap will adjust by then, but currently he takes a long afternoon nap. If that sticks, we would only need care until the early afternoon. We will need regular care Monday through Friday, but there will certainly be days and weeks that we will not need care. We look forward to meeting you!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Baltimore, MD

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Baltimore, MD

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Baltimore, MD? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
