We are looking for help 1-2 days a week to help with our son, Alden, while mom and dad work. Mom works full-time and dad works part-time, and between us, one of us will probably be in the house. Having a reliable nanny will help us manage the weekly schedule much better.
Alden is just 3 months old and he is a healthy and happy baby. We would like to keep him at home as much as possible for his first year. We don't know what days of the week we would like a nanny, but probably Tuesday and/or Wednesday. We hope that we can be flexible and adapt the schedule over time.
At this point we are looking for someone to spend time with him, feed him, and play with him. He's a very young child, so not too demanding in terms of mobility or in-depth activities. He's still breast and bottle feeding.
We have a high-energy but loving dog and a solitary cat. Must be comfortable and confident with dogs. Bear will be a bit much at first, but he'll settle down and be your friend.

My husband and I are re-locating to Silver Spring from NYC and we are looking for a full time nanny for a 2 year old toddler and newborn (6 month old). Both wonderful, precious boys. We are a very kind and loving family. We prefer someone with experience handling young and multiple young children with ease. Schedule will be Monday-Friday beginning at 7am/8am. Some days will be half days and other days will be longer—lasting until 5pm. A few evening and weekend shifts will be needed here and there. Some responsibilities will be caring for and ensuring safety of two children, preparing meals for the toddler, engaging in educational activities, taking toddler to the park/day activities, and doing laundry/light cleaning of room. Looking for full time hours during the week that will cater around my class schedule and husbands work schedule. Work hours start at 7am. I am a "clean freak" and so am looking for someone who is very clean with good hygiene habits as well.
Can be a live in nanny or live out nanny. (Depends on who we can find). LIve in nanny will have their own bedroom.
Covid 19 - We take these precautions very seriously. Especially since we have an infant at home. Nanny will be required to wear a mask. Our family practices social distancing and limit our outings. My husband works in healthcare. If he tests positive, he will be out of work (and pay) for 14 days. We are extremely careful about exposure.
Nanny Duties - All tasks related to taking care of children such as playing, feeding, food preparation, playarea clean up, children's laundry etc. You will not be required to do cleaning that is not related to child care.
