A little bit about us

New parents seeking part time nanny to our 3 month old during the day while my husband works from home. Ideally, 4-5 days per week and 3-4 hours per day. His job is flexible so we are open to flexible hours with your schedule, anytime between the hours of 8a-4p while mom is at work. Duties include feeding, changing, playtime. At this age he naps a bit but prefers contact naps. Only other duties would possibly be washing bottles if he goes down for a nap.

A little bit about us

We are seeking a nanny for our newborn son coming April 2023. Both parents work from home and have odd schedules. Dad works at night and Mom works during the day but travels frequently for work. We are seeking a nanny for daytime care and part time nanny for overnight care when Mom travels and Dad works. All care will be done in our home.

We also have two teenaged daughters in our home, 16 and 17, who will be at home in the evenings and weekends when they aren’t in school. No care is needed for the teens or the parents!

A little bit about us

We're looking for a great nanny for 1 child in Kansas City. A fitting candidate should have their own car, does not smoke, is comfortable with pets and is CPR certified and can provide proof of vaccination.

We expect a caregiver to be up to date on infant safety. We don't sleep train or punish our child, instead we respond to his needs for sleep and we teach him and hold loving boundaries. Also, we have not introduced screens and will not be doing so for some time. We ask to minimize phone usage when watching him.

We're in need of part time care in our home, once or twice a week for 2-6 hours at most at a time.

We would like for the nanny to be comfortable going outdoors with our child often. We would like two professional references.

I work mostly remotely so there will be times I am around and some times I am not.

A little bit about us

I work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 10-6 and then every other weekend. My boyfriend works Sunday, monday, Tuesday at 3-11 and Wednesday/Thursday from 10-6ish. We would really only need coverage for the times we are both at work, which would be about 3-4 hours each day and a full day on thursdays. The baby is due on April 22, 2022 and I will go back to work on July 11, 2022, which is when we’ll need someone to watch the baby. We have 2 cats, but you are not expected to care for them. Our expectations for care are to keep the baby alive lol we both live really close to our jobs so in the event of emergencies, we can be home within minutes.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Kansas City, MO

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Kansas City, MO

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Kansas City, MO? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
