A little bit about us

Our son will be 23 months at start date, very happy and social. We are expecting our second child, a girl, in April.

We're looking for someone to start February 1st, and be here Tuesday-Friday, 8:45am-5:45 p.m.

We're looking for a nanny who is fully COVID vaccinated, has experience with newborns and toddlers, and can do meal prep, children's laundry and light housekeeping.

Dad is working from home, with mom in office Tuesday-Thursday most weeks. Beginning in April, mom will be home full-time on maternity leave to watch baby, for 4-6 months.

We're hoping to find someone who is fun, loves to play, go to the park and keep our son happy and occupied, including with fun educational activities. He's a great eater and on a good sleep schedule. Will also require driving (can use our car) to drop off and pick up at nearby summer camp and nursery school in the fall.

Additional needs include a non-smoker.

A little bit about us

Hello,
My husband and I are looking for a nanny to join our family as soon as possible. Our amazing nanny for the last two years is leaving for personal reasons and we will miss her dearly. My husband and I are both in the healthcare field and are looking for someone fun, caring, and reliable to take care of our most precious treasures - we have two daughters, ages 2 years and 4 months. We have hectic schedules at times, and really need someone who will be able to help us and will make us feel safe and secure while away from the little ones. We are friendly and accommodating and will work with you as much as we can to find a schedule we are all happy with. Please note we may need some early morning shifts. Please feel free to message me if you think you might be a good fit!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Eastchester, NY

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Eastchester, NY

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Eastchester, NY? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
