A little bit about us

Hi! We are looking for a part time nanny for our 2 year old and (currently) 1 month old to start in December. A few days, date nights, etc. prior to December available. We need about 15-20 hours a week with ideally the ability to flex hours up or down based on our weekly schedules. Days would be M/W/F as we already have care on T/Th. A background in early childhood education is a huge plus! Looking forward to hearing from you.

A little bit about us

Our family is looking for a household assistant and nanny. We have 3 triplet boys (5 months) and one 3-year old girl. Our house feels like a new crazy adventure every day so we are looking for someone who has a positive attitude and ready for a fun adventure. We’d love to find someone who loves to travel! (Potentially a trip every 2-3 months). There will almost always be someone at the house (typically mom) so there will be a lot of teamwork involved.

Our biggest goal is to find someone who loves our kids and is looking for a longterm scenario.

A little bit about us

I currently have a 3 year old boy (Elijah) and a 1 month old daughter. My son is already in full time daycare so I am really just looking for someone to watch my newborn for the first 6-12 months of her life. I did this with my son and we had a great experience. I just hate the idea of sending a 11 week old to daycare. I have a very flexible work schedule. My work hours are Monday- Friday 8am-8pm but I am in outside sales so I can be at home if I don’t have an appointment. My husbands current work scheduled is Monday-Friday 8am-6ish pm. His schedule is pretty firm unless there is traffic. We do not have any pets. The only responsibilities I have for a nanny would be to make sure my newborn is taken care of.

My husband and I are looking for a in-home nanny to watch our baby girl, Finley! We both work from home & will be returning to work end of July. Ideal start date will be July 23rd or July 28th. Finley will be about 4 months at that time. We also have a 1yr old English Crème Retriever, Gus - he is the sweetest boy! We are looking for someone who is great with infants, who can work Monday - Thursday/Friday (start time: 8-9am // end time: 4-5pm) and above all else, is kind & flexible and wants to be apart of our family :).

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Franklin, TN

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Franklin, TN

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Franklin, TN? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
