A little bit about us

I will pay five dollars per child I don’t have the funds to pay 1250 per child or 1250 per hour at all I am pregnant currently I’m due the end of August I currently have one child in need of care at the moment he one year old, he’s a Smart, good boy, he’s playful, he is fun, he listens, and eats very well . I am working temporarily at the moment for about a month until I’m eligible to go on maternity leave after I return from maternity leave in a few months after having a baby I will need service again . I work overnights with my fiancé will be available to watch him for but I’ll need time to come home to sleep while he goes into work and for that purpose I need a nanny. I typically need a babysitter from 8 AM two 2:30 PM sometimes it could be a little longer contingent upon when his dad gets out of work . pick up and drop off would not have to be done typically if care is provided in my home but there may be appointments that I’m not able to bring him to so in that case he would need transportation . If you want to be Paid 1250 per hour I’m OK with doing that if you are welcome to sharing household responsibilities and maintenance while I am unavailable . I am currently working towards taking Antonio off of the bottle but I’m not in a rush to do that I guess I’m about three bottles of milk for a day and I offer him water and juice throughout the day to keep him hydrated my son is still in diapers and he is not potty trained yet I do have certain but fair expectations when it comes to his hygiene . He is a very easy child he only gets cranky typically when he’s tired or hungry or doesn’t feel well .

What is an Infant Nanny in Auburn, NY

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Auburn, NY? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
