A little bit about us

Hi! We are looking for someone (highschool junior/senior/college) to *help* our full-time nanny this summer until our daughter is in preschool in the fall. Our daughter is 2.5 years old and we have 3 month old boy/girl twins.

Mostly need someone to help watch and entertain our oldest and help out when both babies are crying at the same time 😬

Looking for approximately 3-4 days a week; maybe 6ish hours a day? Only during the week- no weekends unless it was something special!

We are located right off State and Rt 18.
Thank you!

A little bit about us

I have six children, 15 years, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 11 months. I would love to help babysit anybody in need, preferably at my home, considering I have all the toys and necessities at my home already. I will take care of and treat your child just like my own. Any special requests, just ask. I can work any day of the week. I would prefer to not work past 8:00pm, as that's when I get my children ready for bed, but if it is needed, I am willing and wanting to help. I know I have many kids myself to care for, but I enjoy and love kids and I have much patience and love and care for every child, mine or not. I love to spend time outside with the kids as well as indoor time to play games, read, color, and do crafts. If you are seeking help in caring for your child or children, please consider reaching out to me, as I can be a big help. I have all the experience necessary, from infant all the way up to 15 years. This is a non smoking and pet free home.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Wadsworth, OH

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Wadsworth, OH

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Wadsworth, OH? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
