A little bit about us

Looking for a nanny with infant experience! I recently brought my second baby boy home from the NICU born prematurely. I would love someone nurse certified, but open to people with NICU baby experience. My oldest boy is two years old, and is sweet and playful! I don’t really have a set schedule, I’m thinking three- four times a week and sometimes on the weekends! I do have two large dogs! So must be ok with pets.

A little bit about us

Hello, my name is Ashleigh and I have two beautiful daughters. R is 7 and she attends academy and L is about a month old. My husband and I have been together about 11 years and married 8. We also have two dogs Dozer and Gizmo who are a little apprehensive around strangers but stay to themselves. My husband works as IT help desk in Greenville and mom works remote for Progressive insurance. R is interested in cheer and gymnastics and L is interested in cuddles and food. We are a very happy family looking for a nanny to take care of our newborn while I work remote in another room. As a nanny you would get breaks so I could nurse L and a 45 minute lunch break when I have my lunch break from work. You are ofcourse welcome to stay during your breaks. L is pretty low maintenance right now she sleeps about every 2 and a half to every 3 hours. We can give you access to our wifi if you need to access a laptop. We also have subscriptions and you are welcome to watch TV as well while L naps. During L waking hours she likes to watch Ms Rachel on YT or do tummy time on her play gym.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Anderson, SC

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Anderson, SC

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Anderson, SC? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
