A little bit about us

Looking for a part time nanny for our sweet baby boy! Auggie will be three months old. He is very calm, eats and sleeps well, and loves play time.

Hoping to find someone to come to our home two days per week, 8:30-5:30. We are flexible with which days of the week.

We also have a toddler who attends preschool and a very low maintenance dog. Would like someone willing to do light housework related to the baby, such as his laundry and washing bottles. Extra responsibilities are negotiable and pay would match the number of responsibilities you want to take.

We are a very caring and supportive family to work with. We hope to find someone who will be a long term part of our caregiving team! Happy to provide references from previous Nannie’s we worked with!

A little bit about us

Looking for part-time long-term nanny at our home for our 9 month old. She is a smart ball of sunshine that loves to swim, read, and play pretend. I am looking for someone that is willing to adhere to our scrunchy lifestyle with products/foods and ideally christian to continue to teach/read little activities during your time together as she ages. I am looking for someone Tuesday afternoons, Friday, and Saturday morning or afternoon. Looking for someone to start on Saturdays initially immediately and other days in August/Sept. I work from home so will most of the time be around but may need to pop in and out or go to a meeting on some days. We have two dachshunds that do bark but she loves so you must be okay working with dogs that will have free roam of the house and yard. We are planning for a second child as well and we'd be wanting the same nanny to watch that child too. Looking for a nanny that is caring, nurturing, fun, active, attentive, likes to make/do crafts/art, likes to read, and disciplined and able to uphold rules/boundaries. Depending on the need that week the Nanny will also need to do some house cleaning or laundry whilst baby naps, food prep for baby, and/or some basic food prep for family. The most ideal scenario would be to have someone with educational background so long-term you can also assist with homeschooling.

A little bit about us

Searching for a long-term nanny for my newborn son. I'm looking for someone available to care for him in my home in Beaufort while I work from my home office. I plan to return to work in August on a part time basis and gradually return to a full time status (probably within a month). I'll be present throughout the day to provide our nanny a lunch break and interact with my son as my schedule allows.

I have two small senior maltipoos that would also be in the home so any applicants will need to be comfortable with pets. I would also appreciate someone who would be willing to do light housekeeping like baby laundry and bottle washing.

My ideal nanny is someone reliable that is willing to become an integral part of our family routine. Applicant must have reliable transportation. CPR/First Aid certification, Teaching/Childhood Education/Nursing background would be a major plus. Please, no smokers. I’ll be screening applicants via online interviews. Please have references prepared. Feel free to contact me for more details or with any questions.

Thank you!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Beaufort, SC

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Beaufort, SC

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Beaufort, SC? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
