A little bit about us

Sweet baby girl. Diagnosed with microcephaly at birth which is associated with motor skill and speech delays, she is special needs but perfect! She receives in home speech, physical and occupational therapy. Currently her needs are like any infant requiring feeding, burping, diapering, putting down for naps and snuggles and additionally being present during her in-home therapies. We’d also like her nanny to do the exercises the therapists teach to help her develop. Looking for someone to start in August, Monday through Friday on a part time basis in our home. We have a needed start time of 7:45 am until 2 pm. Additional hours can be negotiated. $15 is our starting rate but it is also negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

A little about our family, my husband is active duty Air Force and I work full time as an engineer. We are family-oriented with Christian values. We have three more children with the oldest in high school, a 2 and a 4 year old. The younger two are in a daycare we love and will remain in it. Looking forward to finding a loving and dedicated nanny who can help us help our daughter reach her full potential.

A little bit about us

I'm going to be giving birth in May (Est due date [phone number hidden]). I'm looking to find out how realistic it would be to find someone to nanny share with / a nanny. my ideal work day would be between 8am-5pm or 8-4...or even 9am - 5pm...my job is flexible and I can complete work from home and at the office. I'd need help with my newborn and light tidying up from day to day activity.

A little bit about us

Our son is almost a year old. I work from home and need someone to come to our house while I work. I need help Monday -Wednesday , 9-4 for the next 2 months as our babysitter starts her real estate career at the end of the month.

We have a German shepherd and would need help with walking her when our son is down every now and again. You’d be responsible for cleaning up play areas and washing his bottles/high chair.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

A little bit about us

I have one little girl 9months old. I am seeking care for Fridays every week from 6:45am to 5:30pm and may occasionally need another day. Depending on my boyfriends school schedule, which I would get before hand. Our daughter is our number one priority in our lives and I'm just not willing to put in her a daycare, id prefer somewhere that will feel more like home. If you or anyone you know is interested feel free to message me. I live in ladson but I work in West Ashley so am willing to do close to either location. Thanks in advance!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Ladson, SC

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Ladson, SC

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Ladson, SC? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
