A little bit about us

Hello! We are looking for an experienced nanny to watch our 2.5 year old daughter and 3 month old boy staring in May 2022. We need help 6-7 hours a day M-F. We are very intentional parents and hoping to find someone who is passionate about child development, plans activities and outings, and is willing to do light housekeeping (dishes, tidying, vacuuming). We hope to find someone who has a car, is willing to watch the kids when they have colds, and is interested in staying with us for a year.

A little bit about us

My name is Courtney, my fiancés name is Dillan, and we have 3 cats along with our little guy, Theo. Theo is 5 months old, but was born 3 months early so developmentally and physically he is 2 months old. He is an angel baby- goes down for naps great, doesn’t cry often, loves to cuddle, etc! The position would be caring for Theo (diapers, making and washing bottles, putting him down for naps, playing with him, and driving him to therapy appointments as needed (usually 1-2x a week) in springville at my mom’s house. We would need care likely 2-4 days M-F with the start and end time a little variable, likely 20-30 hours a week. I will hopefully be starting a new job at the end of January/beginning of February which is when we will need to begin care for him. Would you be available and interested in this position?

A little bit about us

Looking for a great nanny to care for our 3 month old baby girl! Monday, Tuesday, Fridays from 9am-2pm. I will be home most of the time to breastfeed when needed. She will probably be napping most of the time, but during her wake hours we’d like someone to interact with her (walks, play, tummy time, etc).

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Provo, UT

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. What is an Infant Nanny in Provo, UT

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Provo, UT? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
