A little bit about us

We're located in Silverdale and are looking for a reliable, fun loving, creative, kind and organized nanny to help every week from 8a-4p Tuesday - Thursday. We would love some help with light house work (ie sweeping/mopping, dishes, occasional laundry for our son). He just turned 2 early May, loves books, getting outside for walks, visits to the playground in our neighborhood, music/dancing, exploring creative outlets, and loves puppies. Which we have 3 small poodle mix dogs - dog lovers welcomed! We wouldn't require help with the dogs. My husband and I primarily work from home, but there's plenty of space within our home to play with our son. If this sounds like it could be a good fit, we'd love to hear from you!

A little bit about us

Looking for a part-time nanny for my 1.5 year old daughter and 7 week old son within the next couple of months! Flexible on days/times, but thinking something like Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 12p-5p. I work from home so I would be around, just be in my home office. We have a park about 0.2 miles from our house so I’d love to get the toddler outside but other than that no expectations of pick off/drop off/driving etc!

A little bit about us

I’m looking for care for my newborn. She will be around 3 months old at the time I’ll need a nanny. I’m looking for a nanny to start work in mid February and need care Mondays from 2:30pm-5:30pm and Tuesdays from 9am-1:30pm. I’m looking for care at the Nanny’s home, as I think that would work best for our family. This is my husband and I’s first baby, and we are very nervous at the thought of having a Nanny and are looking for someone reliable and trustworthy as our baby girl is our heart and soul.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Bremerton, WA

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Bremerton, WA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Bremerton, WA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
