Lauren B. - Seeking Work in Essex

Lauren B.

Essex, MD

A little bit about me…

I started babysitting when i was about 12 years old, first my siblings and then for the different families in our neighborhood and their friends. I continued to do that through high school where i took child care and development classes for 3 years and during my senior year i also did and internship with a first grade class at a local elementary school. After i graduated i was contacted by the teacher who ran the program asking if i would be interested in being a nanny for her newborn twins. I worked with her for about 8 months before she moved and than i went to work for the family i am still with now. I have been with them for 5 1/2 years now. They have 3 wonderful boys who are now 7, 5, and 4. I have greatly enjoyed my time with them but unfortunately they no longer need me with all the boys now in full-time school.
