A little bit about us
We are both physicians with demanding careers and have two young children. We are seeking someone who genuinely enjoys caring for children while also helping our home run smoothly. This is a long-term position for someone looking for stability with a family who values honesty, kindness, reliability and mutual respect.
The role combines childcare with household management. Responsibilities may include:
Providing attentive, nurturing childcare and supporting our children's learning and development.
Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children and, when appropriate, the family.
Laundry, ironing and wardrobe organisation.
Keeping the home clean, tidy and well organised (general housekeeping rather than heavy deep cleaning).
Grocery shopping and household errands if required.
Helping establish consistent daily routines.
Occasional school/daycare drop-offs or pick-ups in the future.
Occasional evening or overnight care by prior arrangement.
We are open to either a live-in or live-out arrangement, although live-in is preferred for the right candidate. For a live-in position, private accommodation within our home will be provided.
The ideal candidate will have experience caring for young children, be organised, proactive, trustworthy and able to work independently. A valid driver's licence would be an asset but is not essential. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
We offer a Competitive salary based on the best overall fit for our family and the role, a respectful working environment, regular time off, and the opportunity to build a long-term position with a family who truly values and appreciates the important role you will play in our children's lives.
If this sounds like the type of position you are seeking, we would be delighted to hear from you.

I need help 3 days a week for 5 hours daily starting anywhere between 8:45 and 10am latest. I have some flexibility on days for the right candidate.
My little one is active and curious and loves to be playful. I prefer a nanny who is attentive but also is comfortable with child led play and letting them get lost in their own world without interruption. You should be warm and loving and concerned with emotional well being as much as physical well being.
