A little bit about us

We're a first-time-parent family in the Christie Pits / Annex area looking for a warm, experienced nanny to care for our baby. Baby will be about 3 months old when you start, so we're hoping for someone who's confident and comfortable with little ones this young.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, roughly 8:30am–4:30/5pm (some flexibility on the end time). Start date early-to-mid September. We're looking for someone interested in a long-term role.

About us: I work from home and my husband works in the office, so during the day you'd be the primary caregiver and I will be around to support when needed! We also have a dog, so you'd need to be comfortable with animals. :)

What the days look like: full infant care during work hours, bottle feeding, diaper changes, naps and sleep routine, tummy time, and stroller walks/outings, plus keeping baby's things organized (bottle prep and sterilizing). We'd also love some light, baby-related housekeeping: baby laundry and keeping the nursery and common areas tidy.

What we're hoping for: experience with newborns/infants and references we can check; someone warm, patient, reliable, and an easy communicator; comfortable with dogs; non-smoker; CPR/infant first aid an asset; and eligible to work in Canada.

This is a live-out position, and we're happy to set it up on payroll with proper pay, open to discussing rate based on experience.

A little bit about us

My name is Adela, and I am originally from Albania. Back home, I worked as a nurse for 6 years, gaining experience in the Pediatrics, Cardiology, and Surgery departments.

In 2023, I moved to Toronto and began studying Health Service Management at Seneca College. For the past 8 months, I have been working as a Personal Support Worker, providing care for a patient with dementia. However, I am currently looking for a new position, as my current patient now requires 24-hour care, which I am unable to provide.
I would be truly grateful for your consideration.
Thank you 😊

I would like to find a Nanny that could match me with another family to split the cost. It would be from 8 to 4, Monday to Friday. I am currently pregnant with a second baby, and would need a Nanny around March 2025 and after. My daughter Bea will be 2 1/2 and the baby, will be 6 months. We live in Riverdale South, close to parks. We have two dogs and a cat, but they won’t need any care except love and pets. Looking forward to find help for my little ones :)
