A little bit about us

Both parents work from home with one parent having the option to work from an office part time. Our son is 22 months old and attends a local school 3 days a week from 7:45-2:30pm. We would need someone to help take care of him on the days he is not in school (Monday and Friday) and possibly for a couple of hours on the days he does attend school. We currently enrolled in aftercare (2:30pm-5:30pm) but find it is a long day for him in the same small classroom all day. We can be flexible with the number of days and number of hours the candidate takes care of him after school. We would also like someone who can help with light housework, mainly related to caring for the child such as picking up toys, dishes, getting dinner started, making his bed and tidying up his room, and his laundry once a week. We also have a dog so taking him out for a walk once a day with the baby would be great. Candidate should have a valid drivers license and be able to get to and from our house on their own, be able to take him to the local park, and be able to help us with school pick up and drop offs.

I’m looking for someone loving, patient, and super attentive to help care for my son a few days per week from my home. Duties include feeding him, playing with him on the floor, talking/interacting with him, reading to him, and taking him on strolls in the stroller. I mostly work from home but need help so that I can get things done around the house, get extra rest, or I may need to physically go in to work for a few hours.
