A little bit about us
We’re a family of 4 + an adorable 8 year old boxer. My husband and I have 2 amazing little girls, Talia (3.5) and Tenley (1.5) who are growing and learning constantly!
We both work from home and the girls are in early childhood education from 8am-3pm. Were in need of a family assistant. Someone who can pick the girls up from school and also spend an hour or two each day beforehand preparing for them to come home (this is flexible). We need someone to take care of their laundry, upkeep with rooms and toys, meal prep lunches/dinner, support household inventory management and organization. We also like the girls to have “play hour” before dinner which means going outside and playing - movement is important. Essentially we’re looking for an extension of our family to help where my husband and I can’t.
We’ve had a nanny for the last 3 years and departing with her will be its own transition for the girls as they have known her their entire lives. She has supported their routine, their sleep habits and overall development. That said, synergy and communication are super important to us. We won’t always see eye to eye but as long as we’re able to honestly talk about it with the girls best interest at heart, that is everything.
As I mentioned, we also have an 8 year old boxer. ♥️She’s easy but will 100% want your attention because she loves EVERYONE. So it’s important that you’re ok with dogs. She will not be your responsibility, but I may need you to let her out once or twice if I’m unable to.
Lastly, of course, we’d love to have someone who loves children (particularly toddlers) care for our little one, but it would also help if this person is patient, communicative, flexible, and reliable.
Weekend availability is a major bonus but not required. 🤗
Looking forward to hearing from you!
