We also would like to find a nanny who would be willing to work as a nanny share with a family who has a kiddo about 3 months younger . We would expect both kids to be at one of our homes. A little bit about us

Looking for someone RELIABLE to provide care for 6-8 hours, 2-3 days a week. While I am at work (RN schedule), and occasional coverage for date night. My partner works at home part time, and would be available occasionally as needed for grumpy moments. We would expect nanny to be interactive and educational, ok with lots of outdoor time, and occasional light housework (cleaning after meals, tidying toys, etc.)

My 2 year old is bright and active. Her vocabulary is huge, she knows all her ABCs, and she is learning reasoning skills. She is amazing, and instantly everyone's friend!

Her 9 month old brother is almost walking and curious about everything. He watches his sister and wants to be just like her. He takes longer to warm up, but is good natured and has a smile to melt your heart.

My sister has been our nanny for several months, but she is moving out of state in April.

We follow gentle-parenting strategies and encourage problem solving, learning emotions and how to self-regulate, and nature play.

We’re seeking a warm, reliable, proactive caregiver with infant/toddler experience to provide loving care for our 11-month-old. Responsibilities include age-appropriate play, outdoor time, meals, bottles, child laundry, and organizing toys/nursery areas.

Looking for a nanny on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30am to about 4 or 5pm while both parents work. We can be flexible on the days/times.

The nanny will mostly be caring for our sweet 2 year old daughter while her 5 year old brother is at school. We may occasionally need help with picking up our 5 year old from kindergarten (a close drive or 15-20 minute walk).

We are looking for someone who has lots of experience with kids, can plan activities to keep them learning and engaged, and help with light housework and meals (lunch and occasionally dinner).

Our son loves to play outside, imagine, dinosaurs and read books.

Our daughter is growing and exploring the world. She still takes an afternoon nap and loves to play kitchen, read books, and color.

The different types of nanny jobs have different nanny responsibilities. The boundaries for nannies duties vary from family to family. However, in general, a nanny is responsible for making sure the children's needs are met, including things like ensuring they have opportunities to play and be active. The primary difference being the number of hours you spend at your nanny job every week. For full-time nannies, there are options for live in nanny positions and live-out positions in Boise. Live-out positions are more common, but each family has their own set of needs that require different types of care, and live in nanny positions can be exactly what some families want. If you're looking to explore live in nanny positions , it's even more important to create a shared set of expectations around hours, responsibilities, and what is expected of you when you're not on the clock.

How to Interview for a Nanny Job in Boise, ID

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is a nanny job interview. Here is a list of some nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What do you think children like best about you?
  • What kind of activities will you do with children this age?
  • How do you handle problems that arise behaviorally and emotionally with kids this age?

Beyond answering questions, families will want you to have your nanny references ready and ask any questions to show initiative.
