Part-Time Nanny Needed for our 13 month old son
We’re a warm, intentional, holistic loving family seeking a part-time nanny to care for our sweet 13-month-old son in our home. We’re looking for someone who leads with love, connection, and respect—someone who truly enjoys nurturing a little one through presence and attunement.
This position is not for you if:
• You take feedback personally instead of just absorbing it and moving on
• You think babies can be spoiled or that they try to manipulate you
• You think children and their undeveloped brains should always listen and do what you want and when they don't, you think they're being disobedient, disrespectful, manipulative, etc...
• You don't believe that big behaviors stem from dysregulation or needing connection
What matters most to us:
• Attachment-based caregiving: Emotionally attuned, connection-centered care is our foundation.
• Absolutely no cry-it-out: We respond to needs with compassion and presence—no sleep training approaches that involve ignoring cries.
• Baby-led weaning & pace feeding: Familiarity or willingness to learn and follow our baby’s cues around eating.
• Screen-free: No screens during caregiving hours.
• Fragrance-free: We keep a low-toxin home and ask for no perfumes or scented products - including and especially your laundry detergent. (Happy to supply you with detergent!)
• Absolutely no photos of our baby to be shared outside of the family chat.
Job details:
• Hours: Wed through Friday starting at 8am to 545pm working towards 8am to 3pm by Sept.
• Duties: Loving care for our baby (feeding, naps, play), light baby-related tidying (bottles, laundry, BLW prep, picking up)
• Experienced with infants and respectful, relationship-based care (Waldorf, Montessori, or similar approaches a plus!)
• Calm, intuitive, and grounded
• Dependable, communicative, and truly love spending time with babies
Also a good communicator with a reliable car.
