A little bit about us

Hello! We are looking for a kind and caring nanny for our 8-month-old son. Ideally, we'd like to find somebody who is strong with routines but willing to be flexible, creative and (preferably) familiar with Montessori-style play and learning, able to assist with light clean-up, and comfortable with my wife or me working from home on occasion while our son is being cared for. Any Spanish skills are a major plus! We're looking for 10-12 hours per week over 2-3 days, but we can be flexible. We are not natives of the Midwest but have fallen in love with it over the past few years. We have developed great relationships with so many since arriving here, and we hope for the same with a future nanny! We strive to be fun and creative, to explore and try new things, and to make our home warm and welcoming for friends and guests!

A little bit about us

Hello! Our children will be enrolled in day care and school. Mom and Dad are both professionals, and one of us will be commuting to Chicago several times a week. We were hoping to find someone willing to watch the children after school and into the afternoon. Duties would include:

- Picking children up from school and daycare;
- Tutoring children in reading, writing, math, and other subjects using materials that we will provide;
- Occasionally preparing dinner and packing lunches for the next day;

We would ask the sitter to arrive in the early afternoon, during which time she would complete child-related chores such as laundry and tidying up their rooms. Then she would retrieve the children from school, take them to after-school activities, and sometimes prepare them dinner. Hours are negotiable, but we currently envision someone arriving around 1pm and finishing around 6 or 7pm. There will be opportunities for additional hours during nights and weekends.
