We are still working out the details so the days/times may change. I work for the schools so any day I have off during the week you will have off as well. A school calendar will be provided to you so you can create a schedule.
Responsibilities include:
-Creating a safe and stimulating environment for baby
-Safe sleep
-Bathing and dressing baby
-Changing diapers
-Preparing food and meals for baby
-Indoor and outdoor play
-Reading to baby
-Light housekeeping (washing baby bottles/dishes, upkeeping baby nursery)
-Maintaining logs for parents
We have 2 cats which we love and adore, so must be animal friendly (and hopefully not allergic to cats, we keep air filters in rooms since I am allergic myself). No responsibilities with cats, just to ensure their safety by keeping doors to outside closed.
Husband may work from home some days so he will be there to help and support you and provide breaks when needed

A little bit about us
Our son is very alert and curious. He loves when we read to him and when we listen to music or sing to him. We would like to encourage these interests. We also talk to him and he frequently babbles back at us. He loves to stand and is practicing standing without assistance. We only allow him screen time on rare occasions and would like to continue this restriction.
We are hoping to find someone to help us with him who would care for him as if he was their own family. We are looking for someone who is kind and who is experienced caring for babies. We would also prefer someone who is trained in infant CPR and first aid (because you never know).
My husband will be working from home five days a week for the foreseeable future but will be in his office.
We request that any applicant to the position is up to date on COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters as well as their flu and Tdap vaccinations.
