A little bit about us

Our family is Mom, Dad, Sister (5 years) and Brother (3.5 years).

We are looking for a nanny to care for 2 preschoolers. The start date is flexible, with guaranteed 9 hours a week Monday through Thursday 4-7pm- primarily assisting Mom with after-school care, tidying/cleaning, and snack prep.
Drivers license required.
Mom will coordinate a week in advance to confirm each week’s hours.
Less often (~5x month) Mom works evenings as a photographer- on those days nanny responsibilities involve doing after-school pickup with our car, dinner prep, and watching the kids until Mom returns home. Occasionally will need coverage later than 7pm. A caring attitude and experience with young children are essential. You must be reliable and punctual, and ready to have fun with our kids!

Mom is a freelance photographer who is often home and joining in child care. Dad is a therapist, who works evenings. Most evenings Mom will be home and joining in child care.

We are looking for a social, energetic, nanny who can engage our children, and be a reliable adult in their lives.

Requirements:
Clean background check, drivers license, first aid / CPR certified. We would love to work with someone with a background in arts or early childhood education.

Benefits:
$30/hour. 2 weeks paid vacation time - one week is to align with our family vacation and the other is a date of your choice. Generous holiday bonus.

We will pay you for the agreed amount of hours each week whether we ask you to work them or not so you can depend on a steady paycheck. Additionally if the children are very sick and we think you should not come in, we will pay you for that day.

If you are interested please respond with information about yourself, your experience and your background. We will set up an interview if it seems like it could be a good fit. Our current nanny is available to discuss the position with you further if you have additional questions after the interview.
