Hello! We are a mellow, work from home family looking for a professional, career nanny for a part-time, afternoon role. You would nanny our 3-year-old as he transitions to preschool. We are looking for someone who is patient, warm, down to earth, kind yet firm, and able to keep up with a sociable and energetic toddler.

Location:
Los Altos neighborhood in Long Beach

Schedule:
**Negotiable.** We have some flexibility on hours. We would prefer someone who is specifically looking for part time and hopes for about 15-18 hours a week. A sample ongoing schedule would be something like M, W, Sa 1-6.

Rate: $20-26 DOE and dependent on duties. With benefits and opportunities for raises. We would love to have someone who can work with our family for a long time, at least a year if not a few years. We are flexible on start date in hopes of finding the right fit.

Duties:
-Diapering/toileting; meal/snack prep and supervision; reading to him; implicit teaching through play; playing with our toddler and going with him to nearby outings; cleaning up after him after his meals; tidying up toys.
-Help with loading and unloading the dishwasher, sometimes.
-Toddler laundry, time permitting.

Job requirements:
CPR Trained (certified, is preferred)
Spanish language proficient/conversational **required**. (native speaker, preferred)
Non-smoker (of all substances)
Covid/flu-vaccinated (up to date, preferred)
Willing to avoid wearing fragrances
Two+ years professional nanny experience required
Safety-oriented
Reliable
Organized

Help needed in caring for my girls, (mostly for my three year old). Will need someone to pick her up from preschool at 1 pm. Must be able to work Mon- Thursday 1-5 at a minimum.
