We are seeking a reliable, engaged, and experienced full-time nanny to care primarily for our 17-month-old son during the day (9-5pm) and assist with our 5-year-old daughter after school (3-5pm). The ideal candidate is warm, attentive, developmentally aware, and proactive in maintaining a tidy and organized home environment related to the children.
This is a long-term position for someone who values consistency, structure, and thoughtful childcare.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for 17-month-old (9 AM – 5 PM)
-Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities (reading, outdoor time, sensory play, structured play)
-Support naps, feeding routines, and daily schedule
-Ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing environment
Receive 5-year-old home from school at 3pm
-Supervise after-school activities and snack time
-Facilitate play and structured activities
-Household Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, living, and play areas used during the day. Clean dishes as needed, including children’s dishes and reasonable family dishes accumulated during the day. Wipe counters, reset kitchen surfaces, and leave shared areas tidy at the end of shift. Tidy toys and reset play areas daily. Laundry not required.
