A little bit about us

Hi, and welcome to our profile!

We’re the Israel family—a lively, loving household made up of a father, a mother, and three energetic toddlers. We run a traditional home and value faith, family, and intentional living. We believe in the Bible, do not celebrate pagan holidays (such as Christmas or Thanksgiving), and maintain modest dress standards—men wear pants, and women wear skirts or dresses. We kindly ask that anyone in our home be willing to respect and adapt to this while here.

Our oldest is potty-trained, while our younger two are not yet. In recent months, our work schedules have gotten much busier (I work overnight, 11 PM–8 AM, and my husband works 9 AM–6 PM), which leaves us stretched thin. We are very present and devoted parents, but we recognize that our little ones would thrive with more hands-on attention, learning, and fun during the day.

We prefer in-home care over daycare, as our goal is to homeschool once our finances are in order. We want our children in a safe, nurturing environment where they can be guided, taught, and inspired while they are still so young and impressionable.

Our ideal nanny will be someone who enjoys teaching small lessons, encouraging outdoor play (whether at the park around the corner or in our backyard), and creating fun, enriching moments. While I’ll often plan activities and outings, we’re looking for an extra set of hands, eyes, and ears—someone who can love and protect our children as we do.

Right now we are seeking 4-hour days for 2-3 days a week. This may increase.

If this sounds like a fit, we would LOVE to meet you.

Sincerely,
 The Israel Family

A little bit about us

I am browsing for a trustworthy babysitter to come to my home M-F and watch them while I work. I have yet to know my schedule. :)
My twins are 2 Years old. They love to play and are still learning to talk. They are shy but I figure you could come and spend the day or a few days over so you can see how It works. My girls still do have a "scheduled" nap and I would like to keep it that way.

A little bit about us

We would like a long-term part-time nanny whom our children can bond with, love and trust as part of our family.

Our two sons are very sweet and respectful, and they have a little sister who generally likes to tag along. Sometimes you will be with all three children, other times just one or two. Most transportation will be within southern Indiana (New Albany, etc), but occasionally there may be an activity in Louisville.

You will primarily be asked to be available between the hours of 4 PM and 7 PM on weekdays. There may be occasional weekend care (i.e. coming along for an out-of-town swim meet or all-day tournament, or being a support at home with our youngest during a half-day or all-day event). You will have advance notice of an all-day weekend event.

Our boys (ages 7 and 9) will need to be transported to and from taekwondo, swimming, sports, and other activities (trips to the park, etc), maybe picking up or dropping off from school occasionally.

Our toddler may need separate tending to if one of us is taking the boys to an event or appointment. She may need to be transported to or from preschool or simply watched at home for a short time.

You may be asked to help with light care at home, when with the kids at home, such as preparing a snack or easy meal, or helping to keep the rooms the kids use tidy (you can ask the kids to help!).

You may also be asked to help with homework (2nd and 4th grade) or other academic extracurriculars.

This is for an extended period of time. Please be able to commit to 6 months to one year so that our children have consistency. We would like to find someone who is OK being flexible, and we will always give you advance notice.

Our children are vegetarian.

Please tell us about yourself, your experience, why this position interests you, and what your general life is like (do you have a job, are you in college, what is your general schedule/commitments).

Please no smokers/vapers, and no excessive phone use.

Thank you!

A little bit about us

I need someone to take care of my nearly two year old, Dorian, while I work. He is currently enrolled in an early intervention program due to being non-verbal, so you'll be expected to work with case workers and adhere to his service plan to ensure his success. He's an energetic little boy, who has issues communicating his needs/wants. Preferably child care will be within my home, where I do have pets, though they will require minimal care/attention.
