WHAT WE PROVIDE:
-We hope to find someone who can be part of our family for many years and would be happy to include you in many parts of our lives.
-Guaranteed hours: We treat the hours that we have budgeted as an obligation. 20 hrs/MONTH during the school year and 20 hrs/WEEK during summer.
-Somewhat flexible schedule: While we NEED care when preschool is out so that we can work, we are flexible on the other days. On months when school is fully in session, we would sit down with you and decide on a mutually beneficial schedule.
-Planned out schedule: We know months in advance when school breaks are and can set the majority of the schedule far in advance
-We pay the employer portion of nanny tax
-$18-21/hr
-PTO: 1hr PTO for every 20 hours worked
WHAT WE NEED:
-Dependability
-Gentle, responsive care. Patience. Warmth.
-Love of (or at least willingness to play) outdoors
-Own transportation
-Spanish language would be a huge
-Light cooking, cleaning, errands
-Walking two well behaved dogs
-We do not desire any academics at her age. I’d rather focus on learning through play, being a kid, and maybe helping do one chore in a fun way to increase her confidence.
-We have a full roster of caring and kind sitters who save the day. Now we are looking for one consistent carer who is available for most of our schedule, which is:
---School year:
-----occasional help with pick up at preschool (hours 4pm-6pm)
-----9am to 4pm when school is out for teacher development days or school holidays
-----date days or nights (we are not night owls and anticipate little night care)
---Summer break:
------Care Monday-Thursday
------Hours typically between 9am and 4pm
------Shuttling to summer camps and activities (mileage paid)
