A little bit about us

ISO our very own Mary Poppins (start summer 2021, long-term care relationship preferred). You will care for multiple kids (infant-7y/o), 1-4 kids at any given time, solo at times and as an extra set of hands (mother’s helper). In September, the two oldest will be in school and the third youngest will be at daycare part-time, so care will mostly be for a 5mo old during the day with older kids off the bus in the afternoon. Light house work, childcare, transportation of kids, meal prep etc. You must be CPR certified, clean driving record/own transportation. Family is very active-skiing, sailing, hiking, swimming, paddle boarding, berry picking, gardening, fort building, crafts etc. Location- outside Bristol village, 40min from Burlington, 22mins from Hinesburg/Middlebury/Charlotte. Likely 20-40hrs/week to be discussed and negotiated. Pay based on experience.

A little bit about us

Hi! We're moving to Bristol in late February. We have a 2-year old son and our second baby is due in late March. We're looking for someone who can help out during the day - looking for 4-8 hours on Thursdays and would love at least another block like that on another weekday. As you can see we can be flexible on schedule, specific days, etc. You will mostly be looking after my 2-year old (until he is able to enroll in a local day care). If things work out well, you can then transition to helping out with the new baby until she is able to enroll in day care. Tell us what you're looking for! We don't have hard expectations around start date, hours, etc. and would happily accommodate for the right person.

We generally follow a "respectful" parenting style, responding calmly to challenging behavior, listening, naming feelings, etc. while still setting and holding boundaries that respect everyone in the family.
