A little bit about me
I’m a dedicated stay-at-home mom to my 22-month-old son, who is truly my passion and greatest joy. For the past 22 months, I’ve also had the blessing of caregiving for my grandmother, which has deepened my love for helping others.
I’m now excited to extend that care by offering in-home babysitting or nanny services to a family in need. I provide a safe, loving, and structured environment where your child can feel at home and even grow alongside my son.
To ensure your comfort and peace of mind, I’m happy to set up a meet-and-greet so we can get to know each other better and discuss your child’s needs.
Looking forward to connecting with a family I can support!
Warmly,
Sydni

A little bit about me
I worked with children of all ages for many years volunteering at a family art center downtown with many disadvantaged, even homeless.
I'm seeking a family with perhaps a part time opportunity not far from me in Cape Coral. Or I am also open to a live in situation with free room and board including utilities, meals, except for the times I cook (and I love to cook), the family will provide groceries or funds for me to shop. Ideally there is a pool at the home. I spent many years doing water exercise and teaching swimming to toddlers, and would like to continue to do so. I'd rather do it in a private home especially during COVID-19.
This family will have the best care for their children guaranteed.
Many many years ago I worked for my government at the time as a homemaker with difficult children and proved to have a real aptitude for it. I have outstanding temperament imagination and empathy and compassion. A calm helping hand

Understand Nanny Responsibilities in Cape Coral, FL
Before beginning the search for a nanny, it’s important to understand what you’re looking for and if a nanny is the right choice for your child care needs. In hiring a nanny, first, you should think through what responsibilities you expect your nanny to handle. With that information, you can create a profile so that nannies can reach out to you. The boundaries for nannies duties vary from family to family. In general, a nanny is responsible for making sure your children’s needs are met, including things like ensuring they have opportunities to play and be active. When tasks go beyond child care, for example, housekeeping or meal preparation, it’s good practice to communicate these expectations with your nanny before hiring them. Along with the different duties that you ask for, experience and location can impact how much you should pay your nanny.
Cape Coral Nanny Interviews
Once you start connecting with prospective nannies, the next step is a nanny interview. To make things a bit easier, here’s a list of some nanny interview questions to consider asking:
- Do you have experience being a nanny?
- How do you handle tantrums? Can you share an experience disciplining children?
- What sort of household tasks are you open to doing?
- Are you open to a live in arrangement in Cape Coral? Do you have experience being a live in nanny?
- Are you open to being a nanny in a nanny share?
- Do you have any references?
- Are you trained in First Aid or CPR in Cape Coral?
- Do you have a driver’s license in FL? Do you own a car?
- What salary are you seeking? Are you open to being paid through direct-deposit, pay stubs?
- What are your expectations around over-time pay and vacation time?
During the hiring process, it’s essential to ask for references, and by asking their references questions you gain a better understanding of they will fit in your family. As you get closer to hiring a nanny, be sure to run a background check to ensure your kids are in good hands. When evaluating a prospective nanny, it’s essential to make sure you’re setting the foundation for a good relationship with your nanny. You can do this by being clear about your expectations around nanny responsibilities and compensation, and of course, by being friendly and welcoming! And of course, as you learn how to hire a nanny, Nanny Lane's nanny services are here to help you along the way.
Daycare vs. Hiring a Nanny
Choosing between putting your child in daycare and hiring a nanny can be a tough decision. While nannies are often more expensive, they provide individualized attention and flexibility. Daycares, on the other hand, prioritize socialization. Our Nanny vs Daycare guide can help you determine what's best for your family.
