A little bit about me
My Responsibilities as a nanny include complete care for the children and some chores. This includes some meal prep, bathing, teaching pre-k lessons and some crafts. Transportation to and from school and special activities along with traveling with the family.
On occasion I may run an errand or get some groceries. I have also done date nights and stayed with the children while parents were away or the family needed pet sitting. I am fluent in Spanish, CPR certified and able to swim. I have also helped in the Sunday school class for the 2 and 3-year-olds at my local church.
Being organized and having a structured routine with flexibility is an important part of my nanny career. I value communication, respect and honesty.
I am dedicated to providing the best care and loving and nurturing the children I get to spend time with.

A little bit about me
I prefer my nickname, Z.
I am a VPK-certified preschool teacher and have been for over a year. I've been caretaking since I was 15 years old and have been off and on ever since. I'm studying to become a child and adolescent psychiatrist and neurologist primarily through online courses and minoring in Theatre, so I promise I'm fit to entertain for hours on end. I believe in teaching through fun and using games and songs. I have a preference for a Reggio style of teaching and learning. I have consistent experience working with children who land on the autism spectrum, as well as those who are nonverbal.
Between being a preschool teacher and a nanny, I have found myself capable of caring for multiple children at a time. I have worked with newborns from 3 months to 15 years old.
I'm always open to questions and further conversations, so please don't hesitate to reach out. I hope you choose me to care for your family!

A little bit about me
My name is Carissa. I’m 24 years old.
I am currently looking for a part time job/full time that i would love, & found myself applying for a nanny position. I don’t have any experience in being a Nanny, but it would be my pleasure to have your family as a first. I have watched my nieces from the time they were a few months old to present day where there are now 5 and 7.
I adore kids of all ages, & am very patient, as well as loving. I enjoy being able to engage with children of all ages & watching them grow into the little independents that they are going to be in this world. I don’t mind doing housework, cooking, any of that. I have always enjoyed doing the duties that daily life requires. I have a dependable vehicle, & am also dependable myself!
I appreciate you giving my introduction a read. i hope to hear back from you & your wonderful family! :)

Understand Nanny Responsibilities in West Palm Beach, FL
Before beginning the search for a nanny, it’s important to understand what you’re looking for and if a nanny is the right choice for your child care needs. In hiring a nanny, first, you should think through what responsibilities you expect your nanny to handle. With that information, you can create a profile so that nannies can reach out to you. The boundaries for nannies duties vary from family to family. In general, a nanny is responsible for making sure your children’s needs are met, including things like ensuring they have opportunities to play and be active. When tasks go beyond child care, for example, housekeeping or meal preparation, it’s good practice to communicate these expectations with your nanny before hiring them. Along with the different duties that you ask for, experience and location can impact how much you should pay your nanny.
West Palm Beach Nanny Interviews
Once you start connecting with prospective nannies, the next step is a nanny interview. To make things a bit easier, here’s a list of some nanny interview questions to consider asking:
- Do you have experience being a nanny?
- How do you handle tantrums? Can you share an experience disciplining children?
- What sort of household tasks are you open to doing?
- Are you open to a live in arrangement in West Palm Beach? Do you have experience being a live in nanny?
- Are you open to being a nanny in a nanny share?
- Do you have any references?
- Are you trained in First Aid or CPR in West Palm Beach?
- Do you have a driver’s license in FL? Do you own a car?
- What salary are you seeking? Are you open to being paid through direct-deposit, pay stubs?
- What are your expectations around over-time pay and vacation time?
During the hiring process, it’s essential to ask for references, and by asking their references questions you gain a better understanding of they will fit in your family. As you get closer to hiring a nanny, be sure to run a background check to ensure your kids are in good hands. When evaluating a prospective nanny, it’s essential to make sure you’re setting the foundation for a good relationship with your nanny. You can do this by being clear about your expectations around nanny responsibilities and compensation, and of course, by being friendly and welcoming! And of course, as you learn how to hire a nanny, Nanny Lane's nanny services are here to help you along the way.
Daycare vs. Hiring a Nanny
Choosing between putting your child in daycare and hiring a nanny can be a tough decision. While nannies are often more expensive, they provide individualized attention and flexibility. Daycares, on the other hand, prioritize socialization. Our Nanny vs Daycare guide can help you determine what's best for your family.
