A little bit about us…

Hello! I am in need of a long term nanny for my (almost) 2 year old and 4.5 year old boys.

We are seeking someone who is patient, thoughtful, and reliable.

Hours are from 9a-3p Mon-Thurs with some opportunity to babysit for random nights here and there.

My husband and I both work from home, but we do our absolute best to stay out of our current nanny’s hair, and allow her a lot of autonomy! In addition to providing a 30 minute paid lunch break, we try our best not to get involved unless there is some sort of emergency. She is leaving in a few weeks for a job that is more aligned with her long term career goals while she finishes her Master’s Degree. We are so sad to see her go, but we’re very excited for her growth.

My oldest is a pretty easy-going kid. He is very patient and kind for his age. He loves superheroes, legos, and Bluey. He tries very hard to be a good big brother and help out when he can. He is at Pre-K until 11:30a. Given that the youngest typically naps for a few hours at 1p, more often than not, you will have lots of 1:1 time with each kid.

My youngest is a busy kid but still just as incredibly sweet as his big brother. He is finding his voice and loves showing off his new words! He loves cars, tickle fights, and hugging his dogs.

Our expectations of day-to-day care are:
-Playtime, including going outside when the weather permits
-Snack time
-Diaper changes
-Nap time
-Cleaning the playroom before leaving
-Very occasionally I will ask for help with a load of laundry or dishes, but it is not a daily expectation
-Aligning with our parenting approach
-Seeking collaboration if behavioral issues arise
-Occasionally letting the dogs out/filling up their water bowl
