A little bit about us

I need a nanny to watch my son during the day, between 4 to 5 hours/day, Monday through Friday. I’m using Montessori pedagogy/gentle parenting to raise him, so I am looking for a person who will apply these principles. My husband and I are both academics. We need quite time to study at home and need to go on campus sometimes during the week. We may be home 70% of the time when the nanny is there. The tasks will be to watch and feed him, play with him, and read to him, tidy up his room and bathroom, and occasionally do his laundry and ironing his clothes. No smoker. Have reliable transportation to be on time and reliable. Be creative and warm. Have first aid and infant CPR training. Love dogs. Haitian Creole speaker is a plus.

A little bit about us

We are looking for an after school caretaker to help transport a 9yr old boy and 12yr old girl from their schools in Coconut Grove to home, and transport them to their after school activities. In addition, the caretaker will do laundry, light cleaning, prepare school lunches and a simple dinner. This will be every Monday through Thursday from 2pm to 6pm. There are only a few weeks left of school but we are looking for an immediate hire. During the summer assistance would also be needed to take them to camp and handle the same household needs as during the school year. Should all go well, we hope to find a caretaker we could use throughout next school year and on.

Fluent in English is a must, plus a good driving record.

A little bit about us

We are looking for sitters to provide regular weekend coverage and occasional weeknight coverage for our adorable and fun 4 year old daughter.

We live in Kendall Three Lakes area, and are hoping to find someone close by for convenience. We have one very loving, very needy cat, but we have the unit professionally cleaned twice a month.

We ask our sitters to engage with our daughter through educational and entertaining activities, take walks, go to the playground, play outside, and assist with baby laundry and baby dishes only (no housekeeping required). Willingness to prepare healthy meals would be a plus.

Considerations
- we limit screen time to one show or movie per day during the weekend / no screen time during the week.
- Spanish is a plus / our daughter is bilingual but my husband and I only speak English, and want her to speak Spanish fluently.
- our home has a blink security system, and we live in a safe and family-friendly neighborhood.
