Both boys have Charcot Marie Tooth, Autism, and ADHD. CMT is a nerve disorder. For "Mother's Helper" purposes, it means that if they look like they 'should' have gotten hurt, we have to check because they may or may not notice. And, we have to notice of they are 'too hot' for them. They don't get hurt any more than any other kid though; they just don't always feel it when they do.
Neither boy is toilet-trained, but Russ is "training." You don't have to change pullups or change clothes, unless you're comfortable. I just need you to notice, and let me know. (If you can, that's great!)
Michael is the most delayed. I need a constant eye on him. He puts things in his mouth like a toddler, and gets into things that aren't safe, if not watched.
Russ is Speech Delayed, and uses basic ASL signs to make himself understood, when his speech isn't clear. You don't need to be fluent, just willing to learn a few basics as you go.
We have a small above ground pool in the backyard, so I prefer someone who can swim. Neither boy can "swim" officially, so I need an adult with them IN the pool.
You won't be dealing with all this alone. At worst, I'll ask you to stay with them while I go get laundry or other chores done in another room. I'm always available. I just need someone that will interact and play with them, give me an extra hand when we do activities, accompany us if I take them to the museums (I'll pay your ticket) or playground, grab them a Snack or Drink from the cabinet or fridge, they sort of thing.
It might be a good opportunity for someone young but responsible that would like to gain some real experience working with Medically Complex, Special Needs kids under the supervision of a parent who just needs an extra hand.
Training-Wise: CPR & First Aid.

Wright - 1 year old - sweet, easy but also busy as he is close to walking!
2–4 days a week, 1-2 days on the weekend maybe 5 hours at a time.
We just want someone that we can use on a regular basis and not have to cycle between young, different sitters all the time.
Would love some light house keeping, playing with kids outside, letting dog (9 year old long haired dachshund) in and out, keeping kids at night if we need a night babysitter for an event, work some during the day so I can work (sometimes from home) and run errands
