Duties would include seeing the children on and off the bus and support with routine morning/afternoon tasks. Mornings - keeping them on time, support picking out clothes, assuring they have what they need for their day, prepping lunchboxes with specified items, walking them to their bus stop at the corner. Once they are on the bus (8:25-8:30), returning to the home if needed to straighten up anything missed. Afternoons would be minor household tasks (emptying dishwasher, checking bedrooms, letting dog out, etc.) You would walk to the bus stop by 3:20. Bus comes between 3:25 and 3:35. Once back at the house, tasks would include giving them snack, supervising/overseeing homework, emptying lunchboxes, and possibly light dinner prep down the road. We live in a four bedroom ranch very close to the bus stop. We have three dogs (2 little Jack Russell Terriers, one of which is very old, the other is two. We also have a 50lb standard GoldenDoodle who is 10. This arrangement would start slow and have the potential to build over time. The ideal candidate would have excellent communication skills and be assertive and highly responsible. Childcare experience is required. Ideally looking for someone that has acquired college coursework or is aspiring toward a career in child development or education.
