Schedule:
• Nurse works mid-shift, usually until 12:30 AM
• Police officer works night shift and will be home, but sleeping or preparing for work
• Days will change weekly, so we need someone flexible
• Must be comfortable working some weekends
We are looking for someone comfortable caring for children in a calm home environment while one parent is present but unavailable due to sleep/work prep.
Ideal candidate:
• Experience with infants (and school-age children preferred)
• CPR/First Aid certified (preferred)
• Non-smoker
• Dependable and punctual
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Comfortable with late-evening/overnight hours
• Willing to assist with possible school drop-off and pick-up for the 9-year-old when needed
Duties include infant care (feeding, diapering, soothing), and assisting the 9-year-old with light supervision, snacks, bedtime routine, and transportation when applicable.
