Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for both children
- Follow a consistent daily routine, including mealtime and playtime
- Provide individualized attention and support to the child with special needs, including administering medications and therapies as needed
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding the children's progress and any concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized play area and perform basic housekeeping duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children with special needs
- Certification in CPR and first aid
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and follow a consistent routine
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and provide references.
If you are passionate about working with children and have experience caring for children with special needs, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity. We offer competitive pay and a supportive work environment. Our schedule requires Monday/Wednesday/Friday on a 2 week rotating schedule of either 8-3:30 or 12:30-5 (or a later start during the school year). Thursdays are open, but we have something currently in place.
