We need a reliable, experienced, patient and outgoing caregiver during after school hours. Pickup for our daughter is 3:05pm and 3:20pm for our son (schools are less than 10 minutes apart) Monday-Thursday and 1:20 & 1:30pm on Fridays. A clean driving record and reliable car are a must as transporting our children to extracurricular activities will be a daily requirement. In addition, there will be homework help and supervised play at home. Preparing snacks and/or light meals will be part of the routine as well as other light housework tasks (loading or unloading dishwasher, emptying backpacks and cleaning snack boxes & water bottles, etc).
Additionally, we have a 25 lb. Australian Labradoodle who may need feeding and/or walking (he often exercises at the park while the kids have soccer practice).
Overall our children are enthusiastic, smart and active. They respond best to kind, patient, outgoing caregivers who like to play and will hold appropriate boundaries when needed. Experience working with children with ADHD and anxiety preferred.
There will be additional opportunities to cover weeknight work events and weekend date nights and special events - possibly even overnight. Best candidates will have flexibility and able to provide last-minute coverage if a child is sick and parents can't stay home d/t work schedule.
Minimum of three times/week and while start time is based on school dismissal, end time may vary depending on extracurricular schedule.

A little bit about us
I am a professional makeup artist and need childcare typically in the mornings from approx. 9:00am-noon while I'm with clients. 3 days a week, but the exact may vary. If an exact schedule is needed, I can try to work with that.
Ideally you:
- are engaging and enthusiastic
- enjoy facilitating hands on activities
- are comfortable with open communication.
Some childcare days can be held at our home, but some days may require an alternate location or activity.
Our little one loves being outside, rain or shine. He is active and loves a variety of activities.
The ability to kindly maintain boundaries and show guidance for typical toddler behaviors is a must.
