A little bit about us
I’m a full-time medical student, and my husband travels for work two weeks each month. We have two wonderful boys, ages 7 and 9, who are curious, energetic, and love playing outside. We’re hoping to find in-home care so they can keep their routines and friendships.
What matters most to us is consistent before- and after-school care:
-7:00–9:00 a.m. and 3:45–6:00 p.m.
-About 20 hours per week
-Boys take the bus, transportation needed in case they miss the bus
During the summer kids are out of school until Aug 19th.
Growing the Role (If You’d Like More Hours)
If you’re interested in additional paid hours, we would welcome the extra support, you could help with:
-House management and organization
-Meal planning, grocery shopping, and meal prep
-Cleaning and home organization
-Calendar support and family logistics
-Home or yard projects
You don’t have to do everything — we want this role to fit your strengths and interests. We will supplement with outside services as needed.
We value teamwork. I’d love to have a weekly paid, in-person check-in where we go over the calendar, share ideas, and stay aligned on routines and what’s working for the kids. We’re very open to feedback and see this as a collaborative relationship.
My school schedule can vary, so flexibility is important. Some weeks may include early mornings or later evenings, and we deeply appreciate someone who can adapt with us as schedules shift.
Compensation
-$23/hour
-Paid through payroll (tax compliant)
We’re hoping for a long-term relationship with someone who feels at home with our family
If you’re looking for a role where you’re truly appreciated and can build a real relationship with a family, we’d love to connect and learn more about you.
As part of getting to know you, we’ll ask for 2–3 references and schedule an interview so we can make sure it feels like a great mutual fit
