The Lehman girls (self-proclaimed “Sassy Cats”) are searching for a dependable, caring nanny to provide after-school supervision and dinner prep while mom (Shannon) works from home and dad (Robert) is cooking in a professional kitchen.
It’s a full household, but the primary focus is caring for Isla and Mila.
The family includes:
- Cate (12) – independent and spirited; she completes her homework and chores in her room until it’s time to help with dinner prep
- Isla & Mila (6) – identical twins (“the Littles”); sweet, engaging, and attentive, but they thrive with structure and supervision
- Grandma Suzanne – does not require care but lives in a suite downstairs
- Pets – 3 dogs and 3 cats (who keep to themselves)
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining a calm environment, especially during Shannon’s meetings
- Providing attentive supervision for the Littles
- Preparing a light snack and handling related cleanup, including dishes and trash
- Assisting with handwriting practice, homework, and backpack clean out
- Guiding the Littles to tidy up after playing, crafts, and activities by ensuring everything is properly put away
- Helping with handwashing and settling down for dinner
- Encouraging Cate to do her chores and help with dinner prep
- Heating up one of Robert’s chef-prepped meals in the oven, microwave, or Insta Pot
- Letting the dogs out on the backyard tie-out if needed
Additional Opportunities:
- Occasional pickup from school depending on Shannon’s meeting schedule
- Rare evening babysitting for date nights
- Potential for expanded hours during summer
A great fit for this role is a reliable, patient, and engaging caregiver (21+) with 2+ years of childcare experience, who can keep up with two lively 6-year-olds, maintain a fun but structured routine, and comfortably work in a home where family support is nearby if needed.
