I started babysitting at 15 years old. I have a very large family with many siblings and cousins. They were the first children I ever cared for on my own. At the age of 15 I also landed my first daycare job in a daycare center in the Bedstuy neighborhood. I was allowed to work their through my enrollment in the summer youth program.
