More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
In addition to being a mom to my 7-year-old daughter, I work as a paraprofessional in a school setting, where I support children with learning, social development, and daily routines. Working with children every day has helped me develop strong skills in patience, communication, organization, and problem-solving. I enjoy creating a safe, positive, and engaging environment where children feel supported, build confidence, and have fun. My experience both at home and in the classroom has given me a strong understanding of children's needs and how to help them thrive.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy a variety of activities that keep children engaged, active, and having fun. Some of my favorites include arts and crafts, reading stories, outdoor play, trips to the playground, board games, imaginative play, and age-appropriate educational activities. I also enjoy organizing fun projects, and encouraging creativity and curiosity. Most importantly, I like getting to know each child's unique interests and planning activities that help them feel happy, confident, and excited to learn and explore.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is providing a safe, loving, and supportive environment where children feel secure, understood, and valued. It’s about more than just supervision—it’s about building trust, encouraging growth, and being consistent and dependable.
I believe strong communication with parents, patience, and the ability to adapt to each child’s unique personality and needs are also essential. As both a mother and a paraprofessional, I understand how important it is to balance structure with fun, and to create a space where children can learn, explore, and thrive while feeling cared for every step of the way.

My experience with special needs children...
Through my work as a paraprofessional in a school setting, I have experience supporting children with a range of learning, developmental, and behavioral needs. I assist students with staying focused, following routines, and participating in classroom activities in a way that meets their individual needs. This has helped me develop patience, flexibility, and a calm, supportive approach when working with children who require extra guidance.
As a mother, I also understand the importance of meeting children where they are and providing consistency, encouragement, and understanding. I am comfortable adapting my approach to support each child’s unique strengths and needs, and I always prioritize creating a safe, respectful, and positive environment.

The most important part about being a nanny...
While this will be my first formal nanny position, one of my favorite moments comes from my experience as both a mother and a paraprofessional. I remember working one-on-one with a student who was feeling frustrated and discouraged during a learning activity. Instead of pushing forward, I took a step back, gave them encouragement, and broke the task into smaller, more manageable steps. Seeing their confidence build and the pride they felt when they finally succeeded was incredibly rewarding.
Moments like these—whether at home with my daughter or in the classroom—remind me how meaningful it is to support children as they grow, learn, and gain confidence. I look forward to creating many more special moments like this as a nanny.
