"I’ve known Apple for a while and can say they’re a solid, reliable person who’s easy to work with.
They’re someone who shows up, does what they’re asked, and doesn’t need a lot of hand-holding. Apple is willing to learn new things and usually picks things up pretty quickly. They also have a good attitude and get along well with other people.
From what I’ve seen, they’re responsible and follow through on what they say they’ll do. They handle feedback fine and actually try to improve from it, which is a good quality to have."

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is making sure the kids feel safe, cared for, and comfortable with you. It’s about being someone they can trust and rely on, keeping a steady routine, and handling things calmly and responsibly when anything comes up. Just as important is building trust with the parents by being dependable and someone they don’t have to worry about.

Babysitter Available in Portland, OR: Nayeli R.
Throughout my college years, I was employed at a child care center as a student worker. Upon graduation I stayed with the center, working as a substitute teacher in our preschool rooms. I sincerely enjoy working with kiddos and have recently branched out to working in the Portland Public Schools District as a substitute paraprofessional. This has helped introduce me to special education as well as working with older children. I'm also conversational in Spanish and look forward to speaking it whenever possible!

Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in Portland, OR: Tiffany K.
I’m a nurturing, creative mom and professional caregiver who truly enjoys supporting families during this fleeting stage of childhood. Parent of a 14‑year‑old daughter heading into high school, which has deepened my appreciation for how fast these years pass.
I bring over 20 years of experience as a Gerontologist in care‑centered leadership roles, grounded in patience, empathy, safety, and trust. At this point in my life, I’m thoughtfully exploring what my next chapter of purpose will be, and in the meantime I’m intentionally doing work I love, hands‑on caregiving.
As a babysitter, I offer a calm, attentive, and playful presence. I enjoy reading, imaginative play, light crafts, conversation, and supporting routines while honoring each family’s values. I’m reliable, communicative, and emotionally aware. If you have pets, that’s a plus, I’m very comfortable with furry family members.
My goal is to care for your child with warmth and intention, and to give you genuine peace of mind.

Hi! My name is Makena Campbell and I am an 18 year old student from Portland, Oregon. I will be graduating high school in June and am looking for a nanny job throughout the summer! I have worked the last two years at a local private school aftercare, caring for children ages 3-14 for three hours after school daily. I love getting to be a part of kids upbringings and watching them grow and become the person they are. I hope to meet a wonderful family whom I can help this summer!!

Babysitter Available in Portland, OR: Khya P.
Hi! My name is Khya, and I’m a reliable, caring, and patient babysitter with experience working with children of different ages. I have about a year of experience in an onsite preschool, where I learned how to support development, keep kids engaged, and maintain a safe, structured environment.
I come from a big family and have helped care for my younger siblings, so I’m very comfortable with routines, meal prep, playtime, and keeping things clean and organized. I genuinely enjoy being around kids and helping them learn, grow, and feel supported.
I’m attentive, responsible, and focused on creating a positive and safe experience for both children and parents. I can help with light housekeeping, homework, and fun, age-appropriate activities.
I’m starting beauty school to become an esthetician and am passionate about helping others feel their best. I’d love the opportunity to care for your child and make your life a little easier!
