I have many years of experience working with children who are on the spectrum. My brother has autism and over the years he has gotten closer to me and when he got older I became his DSP to help him with important life skills. Although it can be challenging, I learned how to imply the tools I learned throughout the years.

My favorite moments are when I notice how they are starting to get more comfortable and there shy side starts to slowly fade away. I would say the best parts are how stronger the relationship gets in the end.

Hi! I'm a Grandma of 4 grandsons who are all teenagers now and I desperately miss caring and playing with infants. I moved from Iowa to Portland in the summer of 2024, but prior to moving, I was a part time nanny for a beautiful family. I started with their first baby at 3 months of age and they had their second baby boy when he was 11 months old. I continued nannying for them up until I relocated to Portland. It was incredible having 2 little boys to care for again!
I also worked with newborns in labor and delivery, pediatrics and NICU at Unitypoint St. Luke's in Cedar Rapids, Iowa for over 20 years as a nursing assistant.
